Special workshop for adults, character sculptures of polymer clay & mixed media (2017)

The Staunton Augusta Art Center enthusiastically welcomes internationally known artist Bill Nelson who will teach a weekend workshop of sculpting character heads, November 3-5, 2017. Bill’s figures of polymer clay and mixed media are in many private collections including those of Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, the late Ralph Waite and many more. Bill has taught throughout the United States and is known for his “gentle”, fun approach where participants always meet with success. Heads can be endearing, frightening, or hilarious… you get to create and learn the craft in one weekend. All materials are included in the registration fee of $400/$360 for members. Class size is limited and registrations are already underway so please sign up soon.
